We called last week and although the signs said it should be open, the gate was locked with no sign of life so we had to content ourselves with the view from the gate. It certainly looked nice and had obviously taken a lot of effort over a long period but it would have been nice to see everything close... More

The house is quirky and worth having a look at if you have young kids. Not a place to spend a long time. Parking is problematic. Its on a main road so be careful. More

During our stay on Jersey 2011 we visited the Shell Garden. It is wonderful, all made from shells set in red Clay. There are lovely murals and statues all made from shells. It is on a busy road so care has to be taken when walking from the car park to the garden. The view from the road is lovely.... More

My young daughter convinced me that visiting the Shell Garden would be a good thing. We had driven passed it several times during our stay in Jersey. Eventually, I gave in and still unconvinced that a garden of shells could be interesting, entered the garden through the main gate. WOW - it was an artistic masterpiece which we all enjoyed... More
