This is one of the worst and most expensive visitor attractions I've been to. With the exception of the aquatheatre which is pretty amazing, I'm struggling to think of anything positive to say. The place looks tired with poor signposting (the playground and otters are hidden away through a door in the back of gift shop), the staff look bored... more

When entering the aquarium i was greeted by friendly receptionists who gave me all the information i need about shows and feeds. It's a bit pricey but on par with similar attractions in the area. The feeds were not overly fantastic, they could have done with more information and interaction, however the Aquatheatre show (i think it was called) was... more

We visited the Blue Planet Aquarium yesterday and felt compelled to write a review for others. Although we enjoyed looking at the sealife, particularly the sharks, this attraction does not offer value for money. For 1 adult, 1 student and 1 child it cost us £37.50 to get in and we were done within an hour and a half, leaving... more

Visited the Blue Planet Aquarium today. I went with my wife and 2 year old son. Plrice was quite high but I guess they need it to look after the fish every day. Didn't purchase a map as the place is quite compact. Where to start the tour wasn't very clear but you soon picked up where to go as... more

This was the second time I had visited Blue Planet Aquarium (I wasn't too impressed the first time but I thought I would give it another try)). It cost me, my wife and my daughter just on £30 entrance fee. My daughter was free as she was under 95cm tall. The whole exhibit was over in less than an hour... more

Went to Blue Planet Aquarium for the dive with sharks experience. Was given a thorough safety briefing - although in 10 years they've never had a safety incident and the water isn't very deep - also l guess the sharks are well fed! Used the centres equipment, which is available for hire for £35. All looked to be well kept... more

I booked a Shark Dive with the Blue Planet Aquarium for my partner to scuba dive in the carribean reef aquarium with tiger sharks, lemon sharks, guitar sharks, sand sharks, manta rays and lots of other beautiful carribean fish. My partner persuaded me to do it too so we could experience it together and I am so glad I got... more

Used it as a time filler on a rainy day, bit of an expensive one. We got round twice with a 2 year old in about 2 1/4 hours. So not really value for money. The tunnel is good to watch sharks swim over your head. Lots to read, dont buy a guide, somebody gave us one. more

Overall the aquarium is interesting and great to see large sharks directly above you in the underwater tunnel. However I was finished in just over an hour which for £14 quid is steep. Yes I could have stayed around in the cafe/shop etc. Also, although there were species of crabs advertised in a couple of pools I never saw one. more
