From the car park there is a very nice walk, through leafy old English forest to the tea room (which serves great coffee and cakes) and then you MUST see the waterfall - the only one like it in the world if you are in Tintagel, it would be shame to miss it. More

Wow, this was beautiful. The walk was amazing, lots of different terrain, splashing in the stream. Lush green all around, birds singing in the trees. The waterfall itself was very pretty, lovely peaceful place. My children aged 10 and 12 wanted to see the meditation room, so we waited until it was free and I took them in. Nobody complained,... I visited St Nectans Glen in the early nineties. It was a walk inland, to a garden with a tea shop, and there were some steps down to the "kiev". I'd seen photos of it before, but never knew how big it was, so took a photo of me standing next to it for scale. I revisted the place last... More

I have just come back from visiting St Nectan's Glen. The walk from Rocky Valley is lovely, you walk along by the stream, it is lovely on a sunny morning, the sun comes through the trees. The tea rooms have just been re-opened by new owners who have done a lot of work to the area and are intending to... More

The walk up the glen along side the river is excellent. The scenery is wonderful, with trees providing shade from the sun. Along the walk you come to an old mill with a couple of genuine very old labyrinths carved into a rock at the back of the mill building. At the top of the glen you come to a... More

I hadn’t researched St. Nectan’s Glen before my trip to nearby Tintagel, with a group of friends, & I’m so glad that I didn’t because the splendour & atmosphere of this beautiful, tranquil sanctuary was such an unexpected experience, that the total surprise made it even more pleasurable. The name, “St. Nectan’s” tends to encompass the area of woodland, in... More

As a visitor to cornwall I had no prior knowledge of St. Nectan's and thought I was going for a woodland walk and see a waterfall. The walk was stunning and the waterfall just beautiful, but I was amazed at the at the emotional experience of the visit. The meditation room and the area around the waterfall are full of... More
