If I could rate this tourist attraction 0/5 I would, but Trip Advisor requires a 1/5 minimum rating, so here we go. Lands End proves why natural attractions/landmarks should remain public and away from $$$ seeking private interests. Effectively Lands End is the most south/western point of England. It's not the Grand Canyon or Niagara Falls (free to view) but... More

A didn't begrudge the $5 entry as they have provided facilities and they have to make money. But pay to get a photo at the end pole is a disgrace. How on earth could they do that and rope it off to the public. Disgusting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! More

I have always wanted to go to Lands end but I must say its the most over hyped place on the planet. Imagine taking the very long drive down to lands end all exited to be shocked on arrival that you have to PAY AND DISPLAY! There is absolutly NO warning on this until its to late. £5.00 to park... "Streuth!" and "Stone the crows!" are not terms my wife usually hears me use. However, I couldn't help but utter these (and several similar) phrases when we paid our first ever visit to Land's End a couple of weeks ago. I had always had the impression that Land's End was a rocky, wild and windswept headland looking out over the... More

We went to Land's End on a day of horizontal rain. First shock: Five pounds to park!! No suggestion of a rebate against purchases in the pricy, tacky shops or a graduated fee depending on length of stay. On arrival, we were chased out by a panicky little man informing us that 'there was a suspicious package' and that we... More

25 April 2012 : Great feeling to be at Lands End again, for the second time, after my first visit in July 2011. Perfect description of our feelings will be best shown through photos I'll be uploading. More

What a waste of time and money. £5 for parking is just the start. After that it is another £25 for 4 extremely poor attractions within the park. Don't think getting your picture taken with the Lands End sign is straight forward. There is no chance of taking your own picture because you are greeted by an arrogant nasty little... More

We had debated whether or not to drive to Lands End when staying in northern Cornwall in April. The 2 hourdrive was definatley worth it and we are all so glad we did! Besides the wonderful views from the coast here, and the fact you can say you have been to the most southerly point in mainland Britain the attractions... More
