“Cawsand beach - lovely hidden treasure”

Cawsand is a picturesque village that has a lovely shingle beach. You can get to it from Plymouth via multiple routes but we always take the Cawsand Ferry which is £4/person each way and about a 20 minute journey. 22/09/2010 - Just returned following a week in a self catering cottage on the front at Kingsand - very nice indeed. Our concern ,however, is that Kingsand has no dog restrictions and is a haven for dog owners who allow their animals to deficate on the beach without any concern for the health of others.
