Lots of exhibits but sadly rather boring as not displayed to their full potential, very musty smell with staff who weren't exactly friendly
Do not expect to get a 'modern' museum experience, this is not that kind of museum. If you are after a history story and a well told tale then this is the place for you. The price is reasonable and the muesum is crammed full of interesting and unique articles and exhibits. Really enjoyable experience and we go everytime we... More
Really enjoyed this little museum . It's actually a bit bigger than u think and took me about 40 mins to get round . It's a good £2 spent on history and the area . Loved the black and white photos .
I don't think we really expected much of this unassuming little building but inside it was a complete surprise and took us ages longer than we thought to get round the curious mix of exhibits. This is a brillilant diversion for children as well as adults, Well done to the people who have put it together and thank you to... More

I really enjoyed the old newspaper articles about St.Ives that were posted, as well as information about the long history of shipwrecks and valiant lifesaving. I look... More
Went here on a wet afternoon and were amazed. So much random stuff crammed in such an unprepossessing building. It is impossible to take it all in during just one visit, so go back again and again.
