We took our cycles to have a go at some of the Tissington Trail... started at Ashbourne and only made it up to Tissington... and that was at a major push... only 3.5 miles of the full 24 miles.... the reason for this ---- its uphill!!! Don't get me wrong this is a lovely area but be sure take your own bikes.If not take plenty of change for carpark .The people who run this are unhelpful couldn't care less if your disappointed you can't ride over not having change for the carpark.Infact they turned down £ 90.00 of custom obviously doing too well in this financial... more
