Visited here one very wet day on holiday last summer. It is quite hard to find, so bring a sat nav. Cost us £13 for our family of 4, which was very reasonable. It was such a funny little place and the lady who runs it was very sweet and quirky and perhaps rather eccentric in her love of Gnomes.... More

We went on a rainy day as we saw the signs as we were driving by....it was a hysterical and I can honestly say I have never seen so many gnomes!! There is even a section of gnomes participating in Olympic sports. Sometimes it’s fun to bring the child out in you and we certainly laughed lots as we went... More

We noticed the Pixie Kiln and Gnome Reserve on the map and decided to venture off in search of it. It was quite straight forward to get to, by following the rosette signs, but a map is your best assurance of arriving in the correct place! It is a mainly outdoor venue but there are some undercover areas too. If... More

You have to work to find this place but it's worth a chuckle if getting there is half the adventure for you. The reserve is in northern Devon. You don a gnome hat and wander through a nice wooded path to see hundreds of garden gnome statues arranged in themes along the way. Oly the Brits would come up with... More

This put a smile on our faces from beginning to end, and we still smile when we think about it! The wood is COVERED in gnomes of all sorts, you need to wear a gnome hat so the gnomes aren't made to feel uncomfortable with you, as strangers, wandering around the place. The lady there is lovely and we bought... More

I visited this attraction in August 2010 with my boyfriend and mum whilst on holiday in Somerset. We had to travel an hour and a half to get there but was well worth the journey! Even though we were pretty much the only people there without children we had a great time with some amazing photos to laugh about for... More

So quirky, so funny, so well set up. It's like wandering around a favourite children's picture book. So many small details make it brilliant. A great day out for kids or whimsical adults. Poorly signed, so make sure you have a map to get there. Good parking, easy enough to get a buggy around it. Cash only, no cards. More
