The visitor's center had a lot more to offer than we took advantage of, but one thing that everyone should do is to watch the film on the history of Clovelly.

I was so disappointed with our visit to Clovelly that I felt compelled write a review. I thought I was visiting a quaint fishing village but instead I found myself getting right royally ripped off! Please be aware that you are forced to park in the main car park on arrival. There are no signs anywhere with prices until you...

The Clovelly Visitors Centre has lots to look at and gives lots of information about Clovelly and its history over the years. We stopped in the restaurant on the way back up the hill after our visit to the town and we sat down and had a lovely cornish ice cream. Be aware that the visitor centre is a little...

I have just got back from a trip to Clovelly (and what a lovely day to visit it was, Weather was perfect).
I took my girlfriend here for the day (finished off the day with a trip down to Bude which is only 15 miles away) and it was our first time to the lovely little village.
I like many...

We went down to visit Clovelly on our trip to Devon, however after looking at the price's we gave it a miss £26 for our group was a bit much also as two of our group are not able to walk to far we would have had to pay to use the landrover transport which i belive is another £2:50...

Once we get into Clovelly,we were charmed by the pebbled paths, very original. Exactly what you will expect from Devon - a fishing village. Would suggest you eat before you go because there's very limited choices and nope Red Lion Hotel main restarant didn't have any seafood and the roast was disappointing.

Absolutely beautiful unspoilt village. The walk down to the ocean is very steep with little shops, a hotel and museum along the way. The path is made from thousands of black lucky stones and the houses are all whitewashed with colourful english gardens. We enjoyed lunch at the Red Lion Hotel looking out to the sea. The walk back up...

In order to avoid ludicrous parking charges which have ZERO benefits my advice is to park on the unrestricted road BEFORE you get to the "official" car park. and walk down into Clovelly. If you do pay their crazy charges you end up walking maybe 300 yards less. The signage suggests strongly the that the only way in is via...

I think other reviews are a little misguided. Advice on how to avoid paying might be accurate but is hardly in the spirit of it. Sure, Clovelly did not have its slightly OTT visitor centre a few years ago and might have been more unspoilt when I visited 25 years ago, but under the masses of visitors, inevitably had to...

A brilliant gem of an attraction so glad we went it was awesome to see the village kept in its original form no new modern buildings spoiling the place. Would recommend and visit again
A walking tour with jana is a must
