If you can book visit and guided tour it is well worth while. You are whisked by coach from Dartmouth Embankment, greeted by charming young cadets and offered a chance to enter a world that still values the history and traditions of our once great Navy. More

We managed to get on the last tour of the season. Tours of the Naval College need to be booked two weeks in advance, via the Tourist Office, as it is very popular. Photo ID is needed and bags are searched. Each tour has a maximum of 30 people. A coach picks everyone up on the waterfront and drives up... More

The first part of this review is addressed to those who like myself travel by public transport.I was originally booked for the 2pm tour which would have been fine.However i was bumped off on to the 245pmtour.The problem is that after 430pm your public transport options rapidly diminish.As a result my trip back to Torquay took 2 hours instead of... I have to be honest and say that i only went as my husband wanted to go but i really enjoyed it. Our guide was a fountain of knowledge and very entertaining.
