when we visited the locals were out in force cleaning up the mess left by trippers and dog walkers, not all beaches allow you to take a dog on and as resposible dog owners we always clean up after our dog, to see dedicated people having to do this just out of pride for their area was lovely. We had a lovely time here. I don't see how it can be called Slapton Sands when there's no sand. There's a pathway at the top of the beach which we found much easier to walk on. The beach is pebbles.
