Lovely location with attractions for both old and young (and all in between). Castle tour guides are both knowledgeable and entertaining. More than enough to fill a full day's visit. More

Beautiful castle well worth a visit. Taken around by a guide called Dave who knew his stuff and was very interesting and enthusiastic. Would definately recommend a visit here. More

What a great castle and visit. There is a lot to do here. You can visit the farm shop, get a tour of the grounds and much more. The tour gives you a feel of what it was like years ago and you get to know a lot about the earl and his family and ancestors. All in all a... More

Unfortunately for me, the castle doesn't open until April 1... I was there on March 29 but had a decent cream tea (scones are enormous) and the farm shop has lots of great stuff. More
