A stunning walk for a lazy afternoon! From Lynmouth just follow the path by the river, it takes about 45 minutes to amble to Watersmeet. We enjoyed a cream tea at the National Trust tea gardens, before strolling back. more

Just follow the East Lyn river up from Lynmouth. After a lovely 45 minute amble we arrived at Watersmeet, a former fishing lodge now run by the National Trust as a shop and tearooms. A lovely way to spend a couple of hours. more

Watersmeet is inland from Lynmouth in the picturesque East Lyn valley where the East Lyn river and Hoar Oak Water meet.
