My over riding impression about Living Coasts is that it doesn't really know what it's meant to be. If it's supposed to be a zoo then Paignton just along the road is far better and if it's meant to be an aquarium then the one at Plymouth is far better. The penguins are fabulous and it's worth paying the terribly high entry cost just to see them, both above and below the water! The rest of it is just average however, and I certainly don't recommend the rats. OK attraction if you've got an hour to kill, but could do with a few more animals. more

The birds are free and actually land on you it's crazy. It maid a wonderfull day. All is in open air and makes you feel like you're in the wild life. You should go. You'll love it! more

Living Coasts starts off well. Clean entrance, nice beach huts as ticket booths and then a some great penquins. But apart from 4 seals and some puffins that's about it, and with a cost of £20 it's not worth it. They even ask for contributions to use the colouring table!
