I had visited the Model Village many years ago and decided to go again when we had a few days break in Torquay. What a wonderful place for all ages. Everywhere was kept very clean and tidy and the displays were outstanding. Allow about 2 hours to get around.Excellent value for money,do not miss out on a great experience. more
Try and visit in the late afternoon so that you see the village lights come on. It is so beautifully done that you can't help but be charmed. I visited years ago and so had few expectations. The English seaside at its very best and the souvenirs were good value for adults and children. more
Babbacombe model Village was beautiful. Amazing gardens and attention to detail. Good value for money too! All the family had a lovely day. I have added some pictures so you can appreciate its delightful sets. Some hard work has been put into this place!! more
If you are staying in Teignmouth and want to visit this museum, the Torquay Strand bus 85 is the one to get. The model village in Babbacombe is an excellent family attraction. It is good value for money and during certain times of the year (& if you are visiting during the day), you are able to return at night to see the illuminations at no extra cost. The model village is very well kept with the gardens in an immaculate condition... more
