Nice locals' pub but welcoming to strangers. The landlord takes a genuine interst in new faces who turn up. Open fire and comfortable, traditional seating. Landlord even asked me if I was on the run!

Fantastic location, especially in the summer. Nice beer garden across the road from the pub and access to the creek stream for kids and dogs.
Good selection of beers and wine. Food is good but you pay extra for the surroundings without getting top quality cuisine.

Eaten there a few times - top spot to go for lunchby the river when sun is out - or for a winter's evening in front of the fire - the place is dog friendly which is a real bonus to me as if I can; drag the wife out for lunch the dog will do ! Enjoy the food...
