We stopped for a visit one morning whilst staying at Oakdene Forest Park on holiday. Moors Valley country park has been one of our favourite days out, it is great value, amazing play areas that us adults enjoyed as much as our children! We never got to see the lakes, or experience the train and ice creams, so we will... More

Great attractions: train, woodland trails, massive play area, food, New Forest Ice Cream, play trails, lakes, golf and a brand new novice mountain bike trail that winds through the forest. Great example of what can sometimes be achieved by governmental organisations and bodies. In comparison I recently went to Legoland which to me was like the 7 levels of hell... More

You only pay for your parking so u could stay all day for just £8. We took a picnic, out of habit more than anything, and had a fun, cheap day out including the dog! Its set in a forest with play trails and wooden structures along the way, the kids really enjoyed themselves and they made some friends on... More

Really enjoyed the play trail - good value as you pay for parking only. Took a 2.5 year old around - she managed to walk it all - it took about 1.5 hours. We didn't stop at all of the play structures as some were a bit big for her, but older children would have enjoyed all of them. It... More

We go here all the time. So scenic and lots to do. The forest trail has wooden play structures for kids to play on. Summer parking is about £8 for over 4 hours and you can spend the whole day there in good weather. We have a 7 seater so the grandparents get in with us and there kids essentially... More

If you like to outdoors then Moors Valley is a great place to spend the day. Bring a picnic though as the onsite food is very average. There are cycle paths, walking paths, play trails, fitness trails and plenty of space. Oh a steam railway, Go Ape and cycle hire if you want to spend some money. More

Moors Valley Country Park is one of our family's most favourite days out. There is so much to do. Forest trails to walk with children's climbing frames and play spots all along the way (all buggy friendly). Do not miss the tree top trail! Children's play areas; a wood chip park for older children with really tall climbing frames, spiders... More

Went to Moors Valley today with two grandchildren (11 and 9). Lovely walks through the forest and lots of things to climb in/up/through. 11 Year old thought it wouldn't interest him but he thoroughly enjoyed himself. Only entry charge is for the car park which was £5 (Easter hols). The countryside is beautiful. If your kids persuade you to pay... More

There are loads of things to do whether you feel active or not. Only went on the Easter Egg hunt with a 2year old but still had a great time. Loads of other things to do like cycling, mini steam train, GoApe plus a junior GoApe and lots of log climby things. Restaurant was OK but a bit more expensive... More
