Lots of grounds but they don't let you see that much of the inside of house and the stables have been converted into houses, shame! Best to go on a dry day or you will miss the grounds. More

If you have to visit Sherborne Castle only visit the lovely grounds on a sunny day as the castle is full of upper class stuck up unfriendly guides who spend their whole time telling you not to do things. This is made worse by signs everywhere telling you not to touch, sit, stand on, eat, drink, have rucksacks on.......etc. Children... More

It cost £9.50 to enter per person to visit the Castle and grounds. There is a guide book for sale at the entrance, but the rooms in the Castle have lots of information sheets and knowledgeable attendants.
