The journey to this nursery from Staindrop was spectacular and even better on the return. One of the best road trips in England surely. Unfortunately the cafe was closed as it was Monday but the village of Middleton-in-Teesdale had plenty of cafes only 5 mins away. Called in whilst out driving and was glad we did. Lovely shop, cafe and garden centre. All staff very friendly. Lovely place and setting.

A nice place to wander round, reasonable prices. But the cafe is wortha trip in and of itself! Very nice indeed!

We run a similar scale and type of thing in North Wales but learnt a lot from here, found by accident. The most organised Garden Centre with lots of really interesting plants often propagated by the knowlegeabe staff.
