I visited the pub with a group of people after a long walk in Weardale today (Sunday 30 Aug). The real ale was very nice, the Sunday dinner was excellent, plentiful and very good value for money. The staff were very friendly and welcoming towards us, great service, genuinely nice people. I'll be back, if I'm in the area again.... More
