If you had a category for nil out of five this would be in it!! The Broads themselves are physically very beautiful and I am very sorry to see what we are doing to them by allowing the current situation to continue. I booked a week long cruise on the Broads with my wife - came home after 3 days!!... More

Stupidly booked a holiday purely to do something different so a cabin cruiser on the Broads looked interesting. Reminded me never to book a holiday in UK where weather is a priority. Absolute nightmare for anyone that knows nothing about the boating scene. Let loose with little instruction. Boring scenery unless you like reeds. Rubbish pubs. Nothing to do. Very... More

We love the Norfolk broads. It is such a wonderful way to spend a day. We have been twice in the past year...on holiday in September 2011 and then again in March 2012. We always hire a picnic boat in Ludham. The boats are very easy to drive, even our children (9 and 7yrs) enjoyed having a turn. They also... More

My wonderful girlfriend took me out on the water for a long weekend, and it was such a great time. The waterways are peaceful and beautiful, and gliding along on a cruiser is such a gorgeous way to see them. Despite the weather, there were loads of people around, things to do, and idyllic scenes to take in. So many... More

I have been to the Norfolk Broads on boating holidays 5 times in total. I have to say that this kind of break is the type that suits me most. You have the peaceful tranquility of the river life coupled with the sense of adventure as you explore new places and look for ideal settings to moor up for that... More

We stayed at the Regency Guesthouse in Neatishead for two nights. This village is in close proximity to Barton Broad. and a short drive away from away from all the rivers and waters of the beautiful Norfolk Broads. It rained as it only can in April in England but then we had sun and the scenery was so wonderful. We... More

Had a 3 day sailing holiday on a cruiser round the broads. Just magical. The birdlife, scenery, beautiful riverside houses... It was so pretty it was hard to believe people really get to live here. You get such a different vantage point from the water, too, which makes it interesting even though you're travelling around at a snail's pace. Being... More

We hired a small boat from Richardsons Boatyard at Stalham Norfolk, they were very helpful as it was a first time on a boat for me and the wife. We choose the wrong week as it was mid summer and the kids were off school so it was very busy. Rather than a quiet cruise it was at times as... More
