We had a fantastic evening on The Bluebell Railway, with The Company Upfront acting out a murder. The food was fantastic, and the murder really got 'the little grey cells' working. It was worth the late night for great food and entertainment.

Lovely old-fashioned family type experience - the stations, trains and surprisingly interesting museum are maintained by enthusiastic volunteers with so much knowledge of the history and development of the services. Delightful people, good website, wrap-up warm on a cold day, lovely views and everything ran on time!!!!

Bluebell is a really nice railway, with trains definitely a lot better than other preserved railways.
On our first trip, we travelled with our small children (7 and 9) who regarded the best part of the trip as ice creams from the shop. Once on the train and underway, it was a bit of an anticlimax. The countryside is very...

I was invited to a new company launch where 70 of their customers were wined and dined to perfection. The food was prepared beautifully, the refreshments were varied and no-one hurried anyone. The trains are run by 700 volunteers, wonderfully maintained and the ride although short was interesting. I am not a train enthusiast but this was a great day...

Excellent Sunday lunch for four served in beautiful Pullman carriages. Lovely friendly uniformed staff, beautiful food, gorgeous Sussex scenery. A bit early for the bluebells though. We were not hurried through our meal which was really well cooked and tasted delicious. A real treat. Definitely to be recommended but book early.

Aghhh. Easter holidays and what to do with the kids?! I've been to the Bluebell Railway a few times before and always have had a lovely day out. It's hard to imagine why someone would get so worked up over some trains but a visit to the Bluebell railway can make you fully understand why.
I found that by becoming...

Er hello! it's holiday time and erm lots of people might...

We had a wonderful evening on the Golden Arrow.
This is an experience not to be missed.
We arrived at Sheffield Park station quite early and were greeted by an immaculate staff member in the Ticket Hall. They gave us information about the evening and pointed us in the direction of the waiting area (Pub on the platform).
At 19.15...

My sister, neice and and I took my motheron the Bluebell railway for afternoon tea on Mother's day. We had an absolutely delightful afternoon. There was a technical problem with the train so they gave us a free glass of sparkling wine. There was a choice of about 5 types of tea and we were provided with a cake stand...
