This is a charming little railway that goes from the pier to the marina and is very cheap, only £3.10 for an adult for a round trip, which is cheaper than Brighton's bus system for the same journey and surely more scenic. The best way to travel this particular stretch. More

The Volks is one of those things you've just 'got to do' while in Brighton; it's not fast, it doesnt' go anywhere particularly thrilling (you've got to walk the last half km from the end station to the marina), but it's old fashioned fun and an integral part of Brighton's history.
