This place is free, with lots of interesting exhibits & some sound effects. It won't take you long to walk around if you have small children-but there is a small brass rubbing area that my kids really like-the helpful staff in the shop will provide you with crayons. More

An atmospheric place with something for all ages whether that be just a fun look at our coastal heritage, dinosaurs etc or from a more academic/research angle. Its free to enter (Donations accepted) & has very interesting plans for a future extension. Good luck More

Well rottten wood and rusty iron does not excite me, seen it all before and no wish to again. Its just not stirring enough and consentrates on too few subjects. More

A well laid out museum with a lot of local interest. The staff were most welcoming and helpful. I will certainly come back, and I recommend anyone to go there More

Small but interesting and packed full of interesting things. Maybe not best for very small children/buggies. Worth a visit. Will be going again when our children are a little older. More
