We took 8 days to walk the Cotswolds way doing from 10 to 15 miles a day. Autumn was a good choice - no rain, and walking on gloriously coloured leaves. We centered near Evesham, Cheltenham, Stroud and Bath and used friends, public transport and taxis to get to and fro the trailheads. The route is very well marked but... More

We walked from Chipping Camden to bath in 8 days - walking for softies with baggage transported for us, and B&B's organised by Macsadventures. The weather was perfect and the woods full of bluebells and wild garlic and anemones and violets, the skies full of skylarks singing their hearts out and the views towards the Malvern hills and Wales were... We (husband and wife) walked the 102 mile Cotswold Way in seven days, averaging about 15 miles per day. It is a perfect walk in many respects...scenic, bucolic without being isolated, and challenging in parts without being unduly strenuous. We chose to wing it...we each carried a small pack (which had everything we needed) and did not book rooms in... More

My wife and I walked the Cotswold way from Chipping Campden to Bath in September 2009. We really enjoyed this beautiful but not overly challenging route. The route effectivly follows a ridge with excelent views over the surrounding countryside. It periodically pops down from the ridge to take you through pretty villages and towns. We did the walk over 7... More

The Cotswold Way is a path from Chipping Camden to Bath. It is a spectacular hike through the Cotswolds, going through fields, forests, small villages and towns. We used Contours to book it and they organized moving the luggage, so you only hike with a day pack. You can also select the number of days you want to walk. The... More
