Had a fabulous day here with our 18 month old grandson who's crazy about birds (as is his grandad) .There are lots of really interesting species to see which appear to be kept .immaculately The stars of the show have to be the King Penguins which were fascinating. The parkland was very spacious and well cared for with lots of... More

Dear livvyWales, Thank you for the appreciation expressed after your visit to Birdland - it is good that young and old can enjoy and experience together and hopefully remember forever. We could not tell the public know at the time of your visit, but we have just had two Humboldt penguins hatch and they should be emerging from their nestbox... More

Birdland is a great day out for families, students, elderly and everyone else alike! The reviews on here dont do it justice, just go and visit for yourself! The most important thing to realise is Birdland is now the only place in the UK you will see King Penguins, and one of only a few places in Europe. These birds... More

I loved everything about Birdland. The birds had well thought out aviaries and all species were happy and active. The penguins were a big surprise and had me in stitches with their funny walking and noises. Definate must-see attraction. More

This was a mixture of running about like a lunatic from one exhibit to another and burning up excess energy in both the indoor and outdoor play areas. She was absolutely entranced when... More

It doesn’t take long to get around the bird park, so is possibly overpriced for that reason. However, it’s a pleasant couple of hours and I would visit again. It allows dogs in on leads, which makes it an ideal family attraction, for all the family. More

Well thank you very much happybnj - it is always good to get any reviews, but such a positive response gives a great deal of respect to all the work of the keepers and ground staff. We strife to improve all the time and this summer will be no exception, so please return to see our developments. Thank you again... More
