The Parish Church of St John the Baptist is a jewel! Entrance is free but there donations of £2 are welcome! The church is large with a lot of side chapels, monuments & memorials. The stained glass is beautiful and should not be missed! Pride of place is the Anne Boleyn Cup which was a gold chalice given by Anne... More

Parts date to the 12th century, lovely medieval floors in places and a wall painting of St Christopher carrying Christ as a child is in St Catherines Chapel dating from 1150. The Boleyn Cup is on show, this beautiful cup was made for Anne Boleyn in 1535. Very interesting memorial plaques More

henley sweet shop in the centre of cirencester . If you would like tradional sweet shop go to henley sweet shop it truly is amazing little shop opposit new look in the cirencester town centre and the staff are so friendly and welcoming , I recommend you take any child there, they won't want to leave. More

We went to look around the church on a Saturday afternoon but unfortunately we'd arrived too late but were invited by one of the congregation to come the following morning to attend a church service which we did.
