What a great way to spend an afternoon! The family act as tour guides and are very charismatic! The house is beautiful and full of interesting tales of history. Lark Rise to Candleford and Tess of the Durbevilles were also filmed there which makes it even more interesting if you are a fan. All in all very pleasant. More

This is the most delightful Cotswold country house (immortalised in the Are You Being Served spinoff tv series "Grace and Favour"). It is a lovely afternoon tour that is provided by members of the family who live there, and well worth a visit. Recommended! More
