I came here early on in its operation and its clearly not aging well its unfortunate that the upkeep is not being made. I think this may be due to a lack of funds or investment. Still a visit but overpriced for what is on offer.
it was dirty, tacky, hugely overpriced and it only took 20 mins to walk around, very small. the tanks are dirty the fish are not looked after. it smells badly too and the cafe was shoddy and dirty with very rude and unhelpful staff! food is cheap and barley edible! very run down depressing place really would not recommend!!!
What a massive disappointment to find the rear exterior area covered with litter. Clearly no one had been on litter patrol in days, if not weeks. The plant troughs were covered in weeds and the children's play area covered in stones and shingle ... Clearly no broom has touched this area for a long time. It makes you wonder what...

Blue reef aquarium is a under water safari- or that's what they say it is... i was very disappointed with my visit as the fish were poorly looked after, the cafe was dirty and it was boring! Not to mention how expensive it was! i would not recommend it in comparison with some other activities Portsmouth has to offer.
Very poor marine tanks, frag tank covered in algae, not good for corals. display tank with dead and dying coral, and a clown fish tank with dead anemone's, does anyone here care for the marine tanks at all, I dont think so. Would love to see the water peramitors! And the back of house operation to see how I gets...

There is a relatively short tunnel so you can walk through the fish, this is followed by a 'bubble' which kids enjoy sitting in, and makes...

some of the tanks were drained so didn't get the full tour to see all what they had .A discount was given to make up for the drained tanks though. Nice detailed activity set up especially if you're going with kids. was a great experince
