We had looked forward to visiting the museum on our recent trip to Portsmouth. We knew the Mary Rose herself was not currently on show, but did not realise that many of the artefacts raised have been moved to the new exhibition that is yet to be opened. So much to take in ! You need to see it to believe it ! Have a weekend in Portsmouth and see all the Naval Yard has to offer.

The Mary Rose Ship Hall and Exhibition was in its transition mode on this visit, I have been before and seen the timbers that were taken from the sea and saw the half of the ship that was being sealed in the many stabilizer chemicals.
