The New Forest is beautiful. It's lovely to drive through and although our route was meant to be on the main road through the New Forest we decided to drive down all the side roads and through the little villages. The only downside was that most the pubs and places to eat were fairly expensive so it's defo worth taking... More

if you hate zoos you will love the new forest No cages just wild life in its natural environment and they are so tame. My wife was dubious about her first visit, but we returned for two more visits within a week. More

Many thanks for your positive review - it was good for all of us to know our wildlife park is appreciated . One of our aims is to be as natural as possible - hence some enclosure may look untidy but from an animals viewpoint it is pretty good with lots of cover. We never lock our animals and birds... More

ok..first time ..first impressions... we had a nice time here..not crowded..cafe was lovley and my 10 yr old loved the otters.. but the cages for the owls?!...oh dear..these were old ,way too small and shabby..more investment needs to be done here..the poor creatures just looked bored and no room whatsoever...my son was so upset in the dark area where a... Lots of empty pens, no play equipment for children. Otters lovely, as was the deer that followed us through the forest walk. Got round in a hour so exactly value for money. The sign at the entrance saying 'No refunds' should have been a warning I guess. More

I note that your visit was last September although your review was more recent. We have nearly completed the Go Wild Adventure Playground and the Tots to Toddler playground will be developed next. There will be plenty to occupy young visitors. More

Not my normal bag but we stumbled upon this place whilst driving through the forest and popped in to use the toilet and ended up having lunch and a walk round! Lunch was resonably priced, basic but enjoyable. Staff throughout were very friendly and the otters were so much fun and were round every corner!! Wolves and wallabies all within... More

Thanks for your feedback from your visit. The Tots to Toddler playground will be open in time for the summer holidays. We do have very adequate toilets next to the entrance... More

The New Forest is a vase area of forest enclosures and heathlands, best explored by bike, but also an excellent place for a good run. The land can be boggy, so stick to the network of paths and mapped areas where possible. Most special about the New Forest is the free to roam animals, including dear, ponies, pigs and the... More

Wonderful open spaces, wooded and coastal areas. Ponies, donkeys and cattle roaming free. Lots of excellent tea shops, public houses and resturants. Child and dog friendly. Something for everyone, whatever your age. More

As other reviews have noted, some of the enclosures were empty and some of the animals could not be seen because they are not active during the day, foxes, polecat and lynx for example, and at first we were disappointed. The rest is very good though, there is a good selection of animals, especially the owls and otters. In one... More

Thanks for your post - the feeding times do vary a little to fit in with the animal's needs - there is a large board in the Animal Glasshouse which has the feeding and talks schedule for that day. The keepers try to be on time but can be delayed due to the unexpected. We hope most of the play... More

Well, how kind of you to put a review on after you came in July last. It gives me the chance to say we have even more to see including European bison (massive) and a first phase of the adventure play "Go Wild" area is completed and more will be added after Easter. Thanks again much appreciated More
