pleasantly surprised to see how clean the ferry was, and the loos at the booking office were - both in Southampton and at the IOW - made for an enjoyable short crossing.

Beware of parking charges if you are picking up people at Town Quay. There are cameras recording your entrance and exit so if the ferry is late you will find a nasty surprise of £75 demand in the post which doubles if not paid with 13 days. Obviously they are not content with over charging for the short crossing and...

Whats not too like ? return fare was good value, and the on-board catering was quite good, a full English for £5.99 and a good coffee shop on board.

We sat in the sun and very much enjoyed the scenery (the huge cruiseships in the harbour to start with). Ticketing and boarding went smoothly and we had a good deal on the price. It was...

I've travelled many times on the ferry. It's just going a cross channel ferry only smaller. Lots of fun to start your holiday.
