Dont waste your money if the weather is hot because the main animals are asleep out of the way go on a cooler day. Personally I loved the giraffes and was fortunate to see the last 2 babies. Never did get to see the snow leopard cubs despite visiting 5 times

I am not usually in favour of zoo's but Marwell does it particularly well. The animals have, on the whole, interesting enclosures and its only the larger animals that I struggle with. The emphasis on conservation is very important to me. There is plenty to see and you need a whole day there to take it all in.

We decided to spend the day at Marwell and what a great day we had. It took about 3 hours to walk leisurely around the whole park. All the animals were well looked after and there were platforms you could walk around to get a good view of the animals. There were also lots of walkthrough houses like the bat...
