Having checked the entrance cost for 2 adults and 2 children on the web I was a bit surprised to see signs in the car park asking for 20p to park the car. What is the point? I had a further problem with the number of dogs allowed into the park. I'm sorry but on a busy day the last... more
My wife and I took our young family to Blackgang after both of us had visited as children, the place itself had not changed but they have obviously invested in new attractions whilst still maintaining the older parts of the the park. The play parks are great for children and the Isle of Wight helicopter experience is a real bonus... more
Our kids loved it here as said it is not Alton Towers but we had a lovely time our 2 and 4 year olds loved nursery rhyme land and the pet shop. Good play area. Som parts are a bit worn but it did not detract anything for us. more
What welcome respite and something that all the children loved! Their imagination ran wild in Cowboy town - don't go if you are looking for Alton Towers on the Island - this is old fashioned themes - was certainly tidy and staff were polite when we went and had a gid thumbs up from our kids [10,12.14]. more
A trip back in time- but not to a better time. We visited in August 2007 and I cannot honestly recommend this place. It is a bit grubby and little effort has been put into it (weeds, litter, etc.). There are two moderately interesting rides: a small roller coaster and a water splash. Both are free after paying for entry... more
