I have been here once and will never go again! The whole place is a money making scheme with its rubbish food and tacky appearance. The edge of the cliffs had a wire fence round it - possibly due to health and safety - and was blocked off so far round. this meant you could not walk round the cliff... more

Ive been to the Needles many, many times, and each time I come away with the same impression. Tacky. In terms of a tourist destination, it has the same impact as Lands End. Beautiful area, but crammed with every imaginable way to take your money. It is however, one of the places that forms the cornerstone of almost every trip!... more

There were 6 adults and 2 children aged 3 and 1. We purchased 4 Super saver tickets to enable us to go on the chair lift to the beach and the rides etc. This consisted of 12 tokens which you use instead of payment. What wasn't made clear to us was that children under 5 didn't have to use a... more

My family go to the Isle of Wight every year. We visited The Needles park a few years ago and experienced their 'Magic in the Skies' firework display. We all thought the fireworks were wonderful. We went again this year and again really enjoyed the display. My 13 year old son says they are the best he has seen. This... more

Had a fab day here in August! Recommend you go early as busy in the afternoons. Chairlift great then take the 20 minute boat trip when you get down the bottom. Great system where you buy a book of 12 tickets for £9 or you can use Tesco Clubcard Vouchers!!! Then these can be used all over the park as... more

My family and I (Tayla aged 8 and Max aged 7) visit the Isle of Wight every couple of years to spend a time with friends and enjoy a short holiday. A couple of years back we visited The Needles and we were very dissapointed. So on our visit last Easter I reluctantly agreed to take the kids again (they'd... more

The magnificent natural beauty of The Needles itself is totally spoilt by this crummy, outdated so called pleasure park. It looks cheap and flimsy and does nothing to complement the beauty of The Needles or most of the rest of the Island generally. In short it's an EMBARRASMENT!! Name and shame the guilty!! (I otherwise love the Island). more

Having been to the Needles / Alum Bay in 1981 with my school, I looked forward to taking my children in August 2005. However, the park is a vile mix of slot machines and very out of date former funfair rides. It is appaling that whoever runs this park is able to get away with putting this park in the... more

Having spent several nice days on the isle of wight, we decided to go to Alum Bay with my two and five year old cousins. Put simply, the so called 'pleasure park' was dirty, tacky, untidy, and I encountered some of the rudest, obnoxious and most unpleasant staff one could ever hope to meet. Will I go again? I don't... more
