Got to agree with most of comments already written. The park is over priced. I paid £4 to park on a day that there was possibly no more than 15 other visitors as it was 'hoiling' down with rain! The needles and the costal scenery are quite beautiful, however..... They are spoiled by a park that a member of our group described as "everything that's bad about English seaside resorts". In a nutshell it was an outdated early 90's style touristy resort with very little appreciation of quality. A park is totally unneccesary. It should just be a car... More

We took our granddaughter to The Needles - the chairlift was a lovely experience giving wonderful views of this attraction. The car parking was a bit of a rip-off but we thought the cost of the chairlift was reasonable. We only stayed for an hour or so but enjoyed ourselves. More

This place is no more than a few fairground rides for the kids and a chair lift that finishes on a beach that is still some distance from The Needles. The park is also very expensive, with every opportunity being taken by the owners to rip you off. More

How to ruin such a beautiful location? Easy: 1. Charge exhorbitant car parking. 2. Build lots of tacky shops and stock them with inferior overpriced goods. 3. Build a monstrosity of a chairlift and charge the earth for using it. 4. Fleece the thousands who visit here each year. Now Alum Bay is ruined. More
