I wanted to say a big thank you to Paul for a great time. We choice Good Leaf as we wanted something a bit different to do and something for Adults also. We wasn't sure at first that it would be suitable for me and my partner (28 and 30) however when we got thee and was set up it... More

Hello and thank you for your great review. I know you were concerned about what you'd be getting up to in the trees when you booked, so it's really brilliant that you can recommend the experience. We'd like to encourage more adults to climb, so it's really great to hear you enjoyed yourselves so much - Paul didn't mention any... More

Are your kids bored? Do they have vertigo? Then take to the middle of a field in the Isle of Wight and cure them. Paul, the instructor, is a very patient & lovely geezer (typical Kiwi :-) Once the kids (and, ahem I) finally got the hang (badum tish!) of it, we couldn't get enough. Consider this - they were... I took my two children (aged 11 and 13) for a morning of climbing and we all had great fun! Paul is a excellent instructor, encouraging and reassuring, and took the time to help everyone individually. The kids took to it instantly and the hammock near the top was the main target to reach! There is no pressure so you... More

Hello and thank you for your excellent review of Goodleaf. We try to make sure that everyone can achieve their own personal goal during the tree climbing session and it sounds like your two did with their trip to the hammock! Thanks too for your comments about Paul's instruction, I've passed them on to him. Hope to see you all... More

My two sons aged 9 and 11 visited the secret tree climbing with their 9 year old friend. They were given excellent instruction by Paul and were able to climb at between 40 and 50 feet high although they had never taken part in anything like this before. My oldest son also took part in the shorter length version on... More

Thanks for your lovely review. It sounds as though your children really enjoyed their tree climbing experience; it's a tall tree and they did brilliantly to reach the top! Thanks for coming to both our sites and hope to see you all again. Paul More

This is a really good activity for older children as many of the activities on the island tend to suit younger children more. Adults can also participate. My kids (aged 10 and 14) loved it. Will definitely book again next year and I might have a go too! Really lovely that you give the kids a snack too. More

Last week we took 17 Scouts Tree Climbing with Goodleaf. The Instructors were excellent -explained the process very well to the young people and were attentive at all times. Safety was paramount as was enjoyment. This activity offers a good challenge in a fun and safe enviroment. The young people rated the activity at 10/10 which for teenagers is a... More

Thank you for your lovely review. We are thrilled that Goodleaf managed to please your group of young people (not always an easy task) as well as giving you confidence with our safety practices. To be rated 10/10 is fantastic and I have passed the good news on to our instructors. Many thanks and hope to see you all another... More

This caught my eye on TA and for a different sort of day out, I thought it was worth a try. It's held at a number of locations on the island with this one (without letting the secret out) in the North on a field with a lovely oak where ropes are ready for the climbers. The organisation is very... More

My husband and I enjoy regular visits to the Isle of Wight and last summer decided to try tree climbing. We had a fantastic time and were really well looked after. We were given full instruction on safety and climbing techniques and both came away feeling like we had achieved something and of course the views were lovely. The Island... More

"Who's going to do the writing?", said Paul, waiting to see which of us would take the bait. I volunteered - "OK, but we're here for the tree climbing, actually", but he insisted we did it anyway. Good job, too, otherwise we wouldn't have learned the cardinal rules that would keep us safely aloft and injury free. My favourite was... More
