Went to the Kent Digger land in strood and a good time was had by all, picked a good day i think as the longest we had to que was for 10 minutes. £15.00 entry fee does seem a little steep, but over all had a good time. more
Booked the tickets online to save £2 per ticket. The rides are original driving by JCB's. You get get drive and control the diggers on different rides. Thoroughly concur with "321Sleep's" review on 18/7: very expensive for what it is, especially if the adults have no intention of operating the machinery. The bumper cars carried a supplement of 1£ per go, as well as some of the smaller kiddie attractions. The place could use some major cleaning and paint, and some landscaping would go a long way... more
Just got back with the kids from visiting Diggerland in Durham. Kids loved it! adults tend to be more critical. Thought the £15 per person fairly expensive, especially when there is a group of you. I absolutely loved this place. It doesnt look like much, but its one of the only places in the world you can drive JCBs to your hearts content! Excellent day out with the children. Its fun to try out diggers whether you have experienced them before or not.Spend all day going round jcb and minidiggers. A cafe serves you food and there is a souvenir shop.The ski slope looked fun though not experienced. more
The basic idea is pretty good : ride around in JCBs and similar. Big queues for rides when there are clearly spare diggers sitting there waiting to be brought out, having to pay extra for some of the rides after paying an "all in" price at the gate, money off entry vouchers that are not honored, expensive and very low... more
