This is a great day out for all ages.The dockyard has so many things to see its hard fitting them in on just one visit. Large coastguard rescue museum with lots of info and boats on display. ropemaking tour. Large museum showing naval historynthrough the ages. really good day out for all. More

There's loads to see here.It's a all a bit higgledy-piggledy but that does not detract from it.The site is huge so it can take it.Highlight was probaly the tour of the sub.All tours wwere well organised. Although we were initially concerned by the admission price, tickets were valid for a year which benefits the local population and we were able to manage 2 visits.
