Visited to see production of Anything Goes. Leads were fabulous, chorus less so, but as it was all performed with obvious joy and considerable gusto it was a very enjoyable evening.

For local theatre with panache, we love the Theatre by the Lake. Supporting the local arts, it is somewhere between amateur theatre and West End production. We love it!

We go to the Jazz Festival every May which is run by the theatre. There are events in both the main house and the studio as well as in a specially erected marquee in the part opposite. The theatre is comfortable inside (seating) and the exterior is designed to blend in with the surroundings. The cafe is very good too....
