Nothing to dislike, this place is absolutely beautiful, crystal clear water on the lake, magnificent natural views all round with a few small islands in the middle. It's lovely when there is a bright sky, you can get numerous different boats out onto the lake and see all the ducks by the shore, the island on the lake with the houses on are just great to see, walking around the lake is so picturesque. When its raining though its just like any lake in the rain! More

Its about a 9 mile hike, to go around the lake. You can stop at any of the little villages for tea and scones. If you want, you can catch either the ferry or the bus to return to Keswick. Lots of adorable lambs on the walk! More
