People have been moaning about the Pleasure Beach recently. Mainly because of the £5 entry fee. Why? you get to go to a show for free, and you get to go into 3 attractions for free, whats the matter with that? And alot of people are moaning about the price, £25 to go on any ride in the park any amount... more

Oh Dear Oh Dear. We’ve been here many times in the past and always rated it the top theme park in the UK and pretty high up the world list as well but not anymore. One of the big attractions of the Pleasure Beach was the good value of the wristband. You had all the shows and all the rides... more

being a family of four ,3 adults and 1 child we paid eqivalent of £100 approx admission. Park advertised a 10 am opening got there at 945 so we could get the wristbands and get on the big rides before the queues. Really fed up along with people who had the same idea as all the rides were shut only... more

Took my daughter to Pleasure Beach and bought the wrist band online before we went saving £5 on price. Long queues for rides but no different from any other theme park. Rides were excellent. The long queue allowed you to get your stomach back before the next turn!! Dare you to go on the BIG ONE!! If you want photos... more

I’ve been regular visitor to Blackpool, more specifically the Pleasure Beach, for many years. I quite like the WYSIWYG feel of Blackpool generally and although the park is small in area when compared to more modern theme parks it has a density of rides that is unique – tracks intertwine and there is barely a square metre of unused space.... more

Hubby and kids were at the Pleasure Beach yesterday. We paid at the gate for entry. The guy who sold us our tickets was friendly and nice. The security which is a new thing for us, was also polite and chatty and they also made nice comments about my Hubby's Scott leather jacket. Our kids are more used to Jersey but when we arrived... more

The Pleasure Beach is a very overpriced British venue, its run down and needs a good clean up. Most of the staff are misserable and not interested in their jobs or the paying public. Most of the rides are old and look past their best, thats the ones that are working! There are many better value places in the UK... more

Having been regular visitors to the Pleasure Beach over many years, last weekends visited probably rated as the worst. Firstly, we had to queue for about an hour to collect our pre-paid tickets and get in. The queue was long and ran along the footpath on the sea front. It was quite clear that lots of people were pushing in,... more

I love the pleasure beach, but I think it is a bit expensive these days! I went at the beginning of september and the park opened at 11.30 and closed at 5pm! I felt that £25 was a lot for 5 hours, and some of the rides were closed too, which I was annoyed at! I only had to wait... more
