Main stage is in the centre of the building, with walkways around the outside. Unusual architecture - personally I don't like the concrete stairs but other than that I like everything about this theatre! I have seen some good performances at the curve but also some second rate productions The prices are high, which is acceptable for the good shows, but one feels ripped off when the standard is low. I suspect the money goes to support the theatre's overblown architecture rather than the productions. The Curve has a long way to go to... More

Nice modern airy theatre. Auditorium was spacious with good sized comfortable seats with plenty of legroom, well-controlled temperature and nice ambiance. The ice-cream was definitely over-priced but you can't have everything! Would certainly visit again. More

It's a behemoth of a building and it's fab. I love that you can kinda see some of the back stage workings. The studio is a brilliant intimate little space. I saw Spymonkey's Oeidipu*&y there along with One Snowy Night at Christmas. The big theatre is awsome and those Christmas musicals are the best! The King and I was brilliant.... More

Whilst it is a new theatre why are the seats so uncomfortable. I have been to the Theatre Royal Nottingham where the old seats are comfortable not so at the Curve which is a shame as it spoils the enjoyment of the shows More

Saw an evening performance of a musical here which was great. The theatre was rather hot when we arrived but once the stage lights came on, so did the air conditioning which made it much more comfortable. Seats were comfortable and each had arm rests that were big enough for two arms! What a luxury to not have to bang... More

Well I enjoyed the show, that was 5 stars, as for the place, hmmmm, well I don't like cheap nasty modern buildings and that is exactly what the place is. It is called the curve, its curved front is made of many short bits of FLAT GLASS, no proper curver here and then I think of 1930's Art Deco buidings... More
