I'd heard about the Jewry Wall before visiting. It's an impressive, standing piece of Roman wall in the city centre not far from the new Highcross shopping centre. The museum and surroundings however, were a huge disappointment. This was a lovely little museum with mosaics, figures and information about Leicester's past. Nice place to go with primary school age children as it brings history to life. We could see the remains of the wall from the road and it was interesting for all of us. It is free, but a donation is welcomed. more
