We visited this museum on a Free Open Day. The many exhibits brought back many memories of my childhood and the fully restored ones looked tremendous. The exhibits are all close to each other and therefore wheelchair access might be difficult.

The museum houses a collection of over 65 vintage cars, buses and commercial vehicles spanning over 80 years of road transport history. There are also many interesting displays of transport history including a traditional garage workshop. Open Sunday afternoons through the year, Sunday mornings and Monday to Friday afternoons from May to October inclusive. Special events Easter Sunday and first Sunday in November.

I am a fairly frequent visitor to this museum. I like to visit when they have a special event - usually Easter and early November. They really know how to put on a good show and their catering is second to none.

Visited this Museum and really enjoyed looking at the collection of 1920's buses. There is a wonderful restored Jaguar that is a work of art. I wish I had had more time as this museum is a gem. Due to the exhibits, a wheelchair user might find it a challange but staff are helpful
