Fantastic visit, our guide was very informative, this is one of the fields that Bomber command left from on the Dambusters Raids. They are opening a new area this April, going back then to see it all, will also include cafe area.
History of site is great and very informative, about the grass runway, and of course the Red Arrows....

If you have an interest in the RAF or its history then it is definitely worth a visit.

Go back in time to this site. You must arrange your visit in advance and as a result usually have a personalised tour. Alot of models and old photographs and alot of buildings and facilities hardly touched since the 1950's. Sad but real. You MUST see the famous dog's grave!
