The guides will tell you all about the features and the history, but you have to see the Cathedral from the 'bottom' of the city - the south - to understand its majesty. The building instilled in me a terrific sense of history you could feel the age in the building. The choir is magnificent and the modern interpretation of the 12 stages of the cross is very moving and beautifully conceived. Missed opportunities. No proper information about interesting things to look at. Could put small notices around with minimal cost. Hasn't changed since we first visited 43 years ago!
