We felt we stumbled acros the Collection. It is on a human scale, not too big, and the "Beyond Bloomsbury" exhibition was fascinating. A very good cafeteria but like the rest of the place. mid-week it was quiet and could do with more support. It is free.

The collection is a lovely mixture of modern building with an interesting archaeological museum. - it spans from dinosaurs right through to medieval times - there are interactive things and clothes to try on too. Well worth a visit! The lady at the door told us a bit about the exhibits, and was friendly. This is a free gallery, and a nice place to spend an hour or two.

The modern art was not particularly appreciated by our group - one piece in particular which took up a whole room and was just a circle of stones!
Other piece of modern art was very clever but sorry cannot remember what it was called.

This is a great free attraction in the centre of Lincoln with lots of interest for families. there is plenty to keep children informed and entertained.
