I was lucky enough to play golf on the stretch of land between Royal liverpool and Royal Birkdale. My how they are blessed with good golf courses. Two brilliant golf courses in lovely surroundings. Stayed in Southport, and played both courses over two days. They still like to keep the women seperate from the men here. Men have their own grand very old fashioned club house which is very unwelcoming and musty and offers very plain, boring food and no hospitality. You get the impression they don't... more
