Attending a concert at the O2 arena this week, we chose to go by the Clipper. Yes, good service - on time from London Bridge and able to stand outside as most seats taken but that was OK. Trying to get back to London Bridge from the O2 was another matter however! The ticket clearly states that the boat runs... More

I had a friend showing me all the sites of London so I didn't need a tour guide. So I had a blast. The weather finally cleared, the skies were gorgeous, the city was sparkly. I took some fantastic photos (well, had great photo opps at least). We went from the London Eye to Greenwich where we disembarked and made... More

Always a good boat its quicker and easier to get into central london. You can pay by using your oyster card which I have and its cheap got the boat from O2 greenwich 2 tower pier on sat was lovely and it takes your mind of the trains if you fancy something different. Always sit on the outside of the... More

The Thames Clipper is a good way to see the sights based along the river. A day ticket lets you hop on and off, and the provided map tells you what sights are closest to each stop. Its makes for a much more relaxing way to travel than the buses or tubes with lots of photo ops along the way.... More

It's a long long time since I boarded a boat on the Thames< and I am very glad I did. The weather was dark and menacing, so we opted for a trip up and down the river to miss the rain. We bought a day ticket so we could go anywhere. Get on, get off, the boat at different attractions,... More

Hard to believe that someone offering scenic boat tours along the Thames actually mount a large TV in front of the window and doesn't bother to clean the windows either. It's as if fog returned to London and the only outdoor seating is at the back of the boat near the engines. It might be fast but if you are... More

We stayed at the Hilton Docklands, so used the river service from Canary Wharf to see the sights of London from the river. Do not use the bus or the tube ! An excellent service and I would love to do it again. TIP - For families, get a roamer ticket for £29.50 for unlimited daily river travel. TIP -... More

Decided to go on the Thames on Sunday due to excellent weather. Paid £13.50 BOGOF on the Thames Clipper. Fantastic service went from Tower Bridge to Westminster and back all the way to Greenwich. Jumped on and off all the way up and down (be careful which stops the boat makes). Value for money. More

We got discounted tickets on the Thames Clippers showing them our National Railways travelcards. They are very fast...a real practical way to get to certain parts of London. Limited commentary and no guides....this is a mainly a practical and beautiful transportation system. One of the best ways to get to the Tate Britain at Milbank pier. More
