We were staying in London for 6 nights in October to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We always use Trip Advisor to find things to do so we came across the Blood & Tears walk which did sound really interesting. We decided to take the tour on 21st October and we were definately not disappointed. Declan had some interesting factual stories... more

Our party of 5 took this trip on the afternoon of 29-Oct. As we were the only customers for this particular tour, it felt very "private". Full marks for proceeding with a 2-hour walk/performance with such a small group. Declan engaged with us all at every possible point along the way. His presentation style promotes involvement and participation, as we... more

My husband and I took this walking tour late one night in May 2009. Declan's knowledge was outstanding! He kept us very involved by setting the scene at each stop, giving us information and encouraging us to use our detective skills to figure out the crime or event. The stories were horrific made even more so by Declan's descriptions and... more

We really enjoyed the two hour walk. Declan is a wonderful guide and enthralled us all with wonderful stories and historical facts. I thoroughly recommed this tour and would say it was one of the highlights of our London half-term. more

Having spent much time choosing a walking tour to do during our trip to London, we were not disappointed with Declan's Blood and Tears Walk! We met with the rest of our group on 21st Oct, which happened to be a damp and cold London evening and added a great atmosphere to this fast paced tour. Declan enthusiastically covered Londons... more

I was so looking forward to the Blood and Tears Walk, especially after reading all the reviews. My friends and I went to Barbican Station Exit on Thurs (15 Oct 09) at 9.45pm sharp but there was no one there! I thot that it was called off or something so I decided to go there again on fri (16 Oct)... more

The reason why I was not there to do 'The Blood and Tears Walk' on the two occasions mentioned is this: I had to go back to Ireland to be with my dying mother. I remained in Ireland for 2 weeks in the hospital at my mother's bedside until she died. After my mother's funeral I returned on Monday 19th...

Let me start by saying that I spent a lot of time researching different walks for our trip to London, and felt confident in choosing this particular walk, based largely on other reviews in Trip Advisor. Also, a bit about myself--I have traveled extensively in Latin America and Europe, and always try to be respectful of cultural differences. I am... more

Here is my side of the story. I remember this occasion well. The three people in this group turned up about 7 minutes late when I had about 8 other people waiting to go. As I say on my website, I find people turning up that late to be disrespectful to both me and the other people waiting to do...

The Blood and Tears walk was an excellent night. It was a damp night and it set the mood very well. Declan wastes no time letting you see the "dark underbelly" of London. He deals with serieal killers, disasters and nauseating history. He mixes in a sense of humour to go along with the gory details. I would do the... more

I am a lecturer in further education and recently took a class of 12 to London for a trip. On the last night of our trip I booked the group on the tour. To say that it was interestin and gripping would be an understatement. Declan had a vast indepth knowledge of this area and has a natural storytellers tallent... more

Really good tour, guide had a lot of history on london and knew the way around the creepy parts of town. If you are going to go on this tour i would recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes, as it is quite fast paced. but a very memorable night !! enjoy ! more
